Industrial Visits

The college organizes field trips for our second-year students every year.
The main aim of industrial visit is to provide exposure to students about the practical working environment.
Such visits are essential as they provide the students with an excellent opportunity to understand industrial practices fully.
Through industrial visits, students get awareness about new technologies and know things practically through interaction, working methods, and employment practices.

Industrial Visit to Amul Chocolate Plant Inside India’s Leading FMCG Chocolate Unit – Amul Plant Visit

The BBA students visited the Amul Chocolate Plant at Mogar, Anand, gaining firsthand exposure to large-scale chocolate manufacturing, food processing systems, quality control practices, and supply chain operations within the FMCG sector. With guidance from plant officials, students observed the production process and learned about industrial hygiene, safety, and operational efficiency. The visit provided meaningful experiential learning and strengthened students’ understanding of real-world food industry practices.

Industrial Visit to AMUL Dairy, Anand

The BBA students visited AMUL Dairy, Anand, where they gained firsthand exposure to large-scale dairy operations, including milk procurement, processing, packaging, and distribution within India’s most renowned cooperative network. The visit offered valuable insights into AMUL’s supply chain efficiency, cold chain logistics, and cooperative business model while also highlighting its historical significance in India’s White Revolution. The experience strengthened students’ understanding of real-world operations management, rural entrepreneurship, and the functioning of a successful FMCG cooperative.

The Second Year BBA students visited the Parle Pvt. Ltd. – Lao More Biscuits Plant, Naroda, where they gained firsthand exposure to automated biscuit manufacturing, packaging technology, and rigorous quality control systems. The visit offered a concise yet insightful overview of production processes, hygiene standards, and operational efficiency, reinforcing the importance of practical learning in understanding modern industrial practices.

Industrial Visit to HOCCO Plant, Bavla BBA Students Explore FMCG Production at HOCCO

The BBA students visited the HOCCO Plant in Bavla, Ahmedabad, where they gained practical exposure to large-scale FMCG operations, including raw material handling, ice-cream production, pasteurization, freezing, automated packaging, and cold-storage management. The visit highlighted HOCCO’s emphasis on hygiene, quality control, sustainability, and product innovation. Through presentations and guided tours, students learned about the company’s manufacturing processes and supply chain efficiency, making the visit a valuable experiential learning opportunity aligned with real-world food industry practices.

Inside Vadilal – A Taste of Industrial Innovation

The Second Year Semester-3 BBA students visited Vadilal Industries Ltd., Pundhara, Gandhinagar, gaining practical exposure to large-scale ice cream manufacturing and food processing operations. The visit covered end-to-end processes including raw material sourcing, production, freezing, automated packaging, quality control, and supply chain management. Students observed advanced machinery, plant layout design, and efficiency-focused operations, gaining insights into the integration of technology, management, and innovation in a leading FMCG company. The experience provided a comprehensive understanding of industrial practices, hygiene standards, and operational excellence in the food sector.

Air Cargo Visit

On September 22, 2025, International Business students visited an Air Cargo facility for practical exposure to global logistics and trade operations. Industry experts detailed cargo booking, customs clearance, Air Waybills, warehousing, security protocols, and technology for tracking high-value/perishable goods. Students explored international documentation, supply chain coordination among airlines, freight forwarders, and customs authorities, plus risk management practices. The interactive session addressed career paths in logistics and freight forwarding. The visit bridged theory and practice, enhancing understanding of cross-border trade challenges and strengthening professional orientation toward international business careers.
