Speakers’ Forum Club
The main idea of initiating Speakers’ Forum as a club was to give the future orators a platform and to normalize nervousness as part of speaking.
“All the great speakers were bad speakers at first” – The ideology of this quote has been followed since the very start of the club and the activities and interactions reflect the same.
Speakers’ Forum made sure each and every individual feels included as well as outperform their stage fear. Various activities including Debates, Group Discussions, Jam, Storytelling and other oratory activities which help the students with literary understanding as well as exploring new point of views are conducted.
Alongside this, conversational group activities are given a major preference where participants share their experience of public speaking as well as explore various topics, out of which few being:
Is there a need to increase literacy around mental health awareness, why is it necessary for all the genders to have equal information about menstrual health, should there be weekends off while working from home, are new Farm bills beneficial, superficiality of Social Media.
Each and every opinion is counted and valued here, to establish a better understanding, various student activities and short bits are also uploaded on Speakers’ Forum social media handle which provides the students a platform to connect with the club and express their view online and involve with other student groups.
Hoomans of GLS is one such social media initiative by Speakers’ forum which helps students to share their story with all the audience. The framing of words, language and content are done by students themselves. The stories help the audience to connect with each other and it also acts as an inspiration

Current Affairs Club
Why Current Affairs Club?
Current Affairs Club is a social forum where students can share their views and passions about crucial topics happening worldwide. It’s the perfect way to be more aware of life outside and provides an opportunity to develop valuable debating skills and educate ourselves on stimulating matters.
Sort of activities by Current Affairs Club.
The Current Affairs club arrange various kinds of activities through which students can develop their skills. The activities like Debate, Discussion on various topics like New Farm Bill, Budget of 2021, Economic System etc, Current Affairs Quiz, How to understand fake news and different perspectives of any issue or law. We also arrange expert sessions where students can interact.
Current Affairs club makes sure that students stay more aware of what is happening around the world and we give them an open platform where they can keep their point of views because it is more important in today’s world that Young people need to know what they are saying is being taken seriously by the people who affects the real change.

Writers Club
WHY Writer’s Club?
The Writer’s club is a platform for students to express their thoughts and emotions. It allows the students to explore different formats of writing, build their vocabulary and allow their thoughts to flow freely. The club also helps inculcate a habit of writing for pleasure and not just writing for purpose. While writing for purpose is imperative, it is writing for pleasure that brings out one’s true self.
How WRITER’s CLUB Enhanced Their Skills
The writers club includes various activities such as Short Films, Movie Quotes, Slam Poetry, Show, not tell, One song you like and why, Your favourite place, Quick Questions, Character Sketch, On the spot Prompts, Literary Devices and Narrative Poetries.
Writer’s Club carried out the above stated activities for the overall development of the members by introducing new forms of writing such as spoken poetry, narrative poems, letters to fictional characters etc. to expose them to different styles of writing which will help them expand their horizons of imagination. The club always motivates the members to read more be it articles, novels or newsletters cause that’s how you can get a hold on the language. The toughest thing for an elementary writer would be to best describe something whether it is a place or a character – the club carried out different activities like when we went to the park the members had to choose an area and describe it such that someone who has not visited yet could easily visualise it but the catch is they had to use Literary Devices. We had fun throughout the year from learning different forms of writing to describing our favourite places, we all grew steadily together

Behind the Scenes (BTS) Club
Videography is one of the most important element to portray a story, cover an interview and many other aspects. With that intention BTS club was initiated to help people know more about not only photography but its editing, videography, poster making.
The BTS club also includes the element of educating them with a marketing perspective.
BTS club initially taught photo editing through light room and shared different apps by which students can understand and edit with ease. Also different perspectives of movie making were taught to them.
The club activities also included an expert session with Mr Namra Shukla who is a professional Canadian photographer and videographer. It was a fun and interactive session where students explored new ways of editing photos and videos. The talk about “Perspective” was very engaging, students also added their perspectives and way of interpretation in the session by showcasing their clicked photographs, Engaging activities are conducted in the group and also informational content is posted on Instagram page. We think everyone should get a chance to dive deep down into their fields, know their talents and be passionate about it. That is our motto, to encourage people to start as a beginner and end as a pro.

Dance Club
Dance club is where students can share their passion and interest. In order to join this club it is not necessary to be a dancer because all you need is willingness to open up to learn, explore and express yourself. We conduct classes on different dance forms to give a holistic approach like Bollywood, Freestyle, popping etc. Due to covid-19 outbreak we have shifted our classes online, we are working on exploring new dance styles . We ask our club members to shoot a short video of their learnings from the class, and later we choose the best videos and post it on our Instagram handle. We have even participated and won various dance competitions. Dance Club provides students to showcase their talents and skills.

Mind Benders – Case Club
Case studies are the intensive studies of a person, a group, a unit or an organization. In the management world, cases help to understand the real-life corporate situations, analyze them and helps to find suitable solutions. It provides an overview of the problems faced in business; identification and analyze the problem and find a suitable solution. Case Studies are the bridge that connects college campus to the corporate world. Here, at Mind Benders, various activities like analyzing of case studies, case-based group discussion, brain-storming for possible answers, presentation of cases, discussing case studies from events with solution, etc. are done. And by being a part of Mind Benders, one can learn many skills, which includes, how to analyze a case, increased reading and understanding speed, presentation skills, group discussion skills, brain-storming, mind-mapping, etc.

Sargam - Music Club
The Sargam Club augment and respect all the forms of music. It brings together those who genuinely enjoys music and provide events and activities for students and the community to express themselves. It encourage our students to express themselves in the beautiful and healing language of music. Even the pandemic didn’t terminated our devotion towards music. Therefore, we had many virtual sessions. We conducts virtual introduction session and everybody was given a chance to perform. Expert session was conducted with Mr. Vivek Vyas. Sargam Music Club also conduct virtual open mic session. Even all the instrumentalists were given a chance to play instruments of their forte. It serves as a platform for all musicians to showcase their talents, perform with each other and put up performances within the club among those who enjoy music, as well as for various programmes, both internal and external.
This club aims to enhance the quality of the musicians, helping them to team up and go on to participate at an intercollegiate level and display the wide array of talents possessed by the musicians.

ASTITVA Club
ASTITVA Club is designed for students interested in learning more about the aspects of theater. This includes learning stage terminology, working on acting skills, set building, and costumes/makeup design. Drama Club is open to all students. Club starts its activity with ice breaking session with the members then the team try to improve their basics in script writing and implementation. Activities which improve their character building ability and perform better like understanding the purpose behind every character and react to it. Also focus on delivery of dialogues and actions. Plot discussion and storytelling are integral part of the club activity. It prepares the students not only to take part in various competitions but also give them an insight about choosing a career in relevant field.

Photography Club
Photography club in GLSBBA is a base platform for students to become a professional photographer in their career. Irrespective of their graduation subject, this club provides encouragement in picking up the snapshots of their interest in best way. The photography club at GLSBBA is one of the most active club of our College. This year we have total of 166 members in the club. The aim of this club is to develop and encourage students to understand the various elements of photography and actively use them as a method to communicate and document.
Our Moto is Learn, Practice and Create. Members are equipped with their own devices to capture fleeting moments of passion, competition and joy to create memories that will be cached by the students forever. The main objective of our photography club is to build the experience of reliving and sharing the art of photography through various types of programmes at different levels, which will create awareness and understanding among students and the general public.
Workshops generally being organized on various topics related to creative technical aspects like Cinematography, Commercial Photography, Live Video Mixing, Direction, Cinematic Lighting Techniques, Product Photography conducted by experts from the industry.
