A two-day technical workshop on Cisco Packet Tracer was organized for second-year students with the objective of enhancing their practical understanding of computer networking. The workshop focused on bridging the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world networking applications through hands-on learning and simulations.
Students gained exposure to essential networking concepts such as networking devices, LAN configuration, IP addressing, routing, and basic troubleshooting using Cisco Packet Tracer. The interactive sessions enabled participants to design, configure, and test networks in a simulated environment. The workshop was well received and proved effective in strengthening students’ technical skills and practical competence in networking.
