Let’s Teach: Teachers Day Celebrations @ Gls-Foc

On September 4, 2025, GLS University’s Faculty of Commerce (GLS-FOC) marked Teachers' Day with an engaging and educational event: the "LET'S TEACH" Classroom Teaching Competition. This competition, held annually, serves as a platform for students to step into the role of educators, presenting on various subjects with enthusiasm and creativity. This year’s event saw a remarkable turnout, with students from all three academic years eagerly participating. Each participant was tasked with choosing a topic, preparing a detailed presentation, and employing diverse teaching methods to engage their peers. The presentations utilized a range of tools, including PowerPoint slides, interactive quizzes, and educational games, demonstrating the students' creativity and commitment to their topics.

Throughout the event, the student who were the teachers for the day covered a diverse range of topics like “Health and Fitness”, “Turning Failures into Success”, “Do and Don’ts of interview”, “ethical dilemma”, “English Vocabulary”, etc. the student teachers made this event more interactive by making students play games and by doing fun activities.

The student teachers had a wonderful experience of teaching in different classes. They were happy that they got chance to do such activity. It gave them confidence, removed their stage fear, joy and sense of responsibility which will always be remembered as a valuable experience.

The Best Teachers For “LET’S TEACH 2025” are Ananya Sharma, Diya Parmar,Divyam Bhatt, Dhvanit Vyas, Heena Nirwan, Jiya Jha, Hoshvan Ginwala.

Throughout the event, the students who were the teachers for the day covered a wide array of subjects, each bringing unique insights and valuable knowledge to their audience The "LET'S TEACH" competition, with its broad range of topics including Accounts, Law, Statistics, Audit, Self-Development, and more, offered a comprehensive learning experience. It greatly contributed to the students' personal growth and confidence. The competition was coordinated by Dr. Bhumika Ansodaria and Dr. Gitanjali Rampal.
