The Faculty of Computer Applications and Information Technology (FCAIT), GLS University, organized a meaningful visit to the Navjyot Blind People’s Association as part of its social outreach program, coordinated by Prof. Drishta Barot and Prof. Namrata Shah. The visit aimed to promote empathy, inclusivity, and social responsibility among students. Students interacted warmly with the visually impaired residents through conversations, singing sessions, storytelling, and even a birthday celebration, creating a joyful and emotional atmosphere. These activities helped students understand the strength, resilience, and positivity of the residents. The visit concluded with a reflection session where students shared their experiences and feelings, making the entire event a memorable and inspiring learning experience that highlighted the importance of kindness and compassion beyond the classroom.
