GLS-FOC hosted the “Youth Lead Dialogue” on August 7, 2025, in collaboration with the Youth Office and the Global Shapers Community, providing a dynamic platform for young individuals to engage with professionals on youth empowerment, leadership, and technological advancement.
The event began with a warm welcome to dignitaries and participants, setting the stage for discussions on the evolving role of youth in addressing intergenerational issues, cultivating skills for future-ready societies, and navigating transformations in the workforce. Central to the dialogue was the significant impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on various industries including healthcare, education, business, and governance.
Prominent speakers Mr. Rohan Shah, an entrepreneur and innovation expert, and Mr. Unmesh Dixit, a seasoned management and communication leader, shared practical insights on AI's pervasive role. Mr. Shah emphasized AI as a job transformer rather than a job destroyer, encouraging students to shift from fear to proactive learning and creative thinking. Mr. Dixit highlighted the importance of balancing hard skills—such as data literacy and AI comprehension—with uniquely human skills like creativity, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving. Their message underscored that while AI can augment work efficiency, it cannot replace human ingenuity and spirit. The interactive session featured a lively Q&A where students engaged deeply, gaining actionable advice on how to thrive in an AI-driven world.
Adding a social dimension, youth leaders Hardik Jain and Krunal Shah spoke on civic participation and leadership beyond the classroom. Hardik Jain detailed the influence of youth-driven local and global platforms, advocating leadership as a continuous mindset practiced through community involvement. Krunal Shah shared his experience representing Indian youth at international policy forums and collaborating with global organizations like UNICEF and the UN, motivating students to step out of their comfort zones and lead by example. Through expert voices and community leaders, “Youth Lead Dialogue” became more than an academic session; it was an empowering exchange on the intersection of technology, leadership, and social change. The successful organization of this event was credited to the diligent efforts of coordinators Dr. Aashal Bhatt and Dr. Bhumika Ansodaria, ensuring smooth execution and meaningful impact.
