GLS-FOC transformed into a buzzing creative hub as the much-anticipated week long Abhivyakti Theatre Workshop 2025-26 unfolded its dynamic sessions under the guidance of theatre artist, director, and entrepreneur Mr. Vishal Shah. Spanning six transformative days, the workshop was a thrilling journey into the heart of theatre, confidence-building, team bonding, and creative expression. On day 1, the workshop kicked off with an infectious burst of energy and laughter. From clapping name introductions to mimicking animals with dramatic flair, participants warmed up to the stage with interactive games. The ice-breaking segment laid the groundwork for self-expression, while the highlight of the day — a group product presentation challenge — encouraged collaboration, leadership, and out-of-the-box thinking. Participants strutted their stuff with makeshift props, advertising fictional products with charm and wit. With the arrival of fresh faces and renewed excitement, the second day emphasized concentration and coordination. The “Multiples of 3 Clap” game kept minds alert and laughter flowing. As the session progressed, students engaged in body movement formations — crafting pixels, pyramids, and more. The atmosphere was electric as boys and girls worked together in silent harmony, building human sculptures that tested trust and physical comfort, key elements in theatre. During day 3 to 6, from vocal games like ‘Hap Ho’ and dramatic improvisations, to dancing solo in spotlight and mastering light and sound setups — each session peeled away the layers of inhibition. The students evolved from shy individuals to spirited performers. At Thakorbhai Desai Hall, the rehearsal stage brought everything together. Teams received critical feedback, shaped scripts, and embraced the grind. By Day 6, what began as an exploration had transformed into artistic conviction. Abhivyakti was more than a theatre workshop — it was a mirror of potential, a playground for creativity, and a stage where commerce students discovered their inner artists. With Vishal Shah’s expert mentorship and the unwavering support of the faculty members Dr. Sneha Master, Dr. Gitanjali Rampal and Dr. Ankit Bhojak, GLS-FOC students are ready to shine — not just in class, but under the spotlight!
