The fourth edition of Explorer, a prestigious National-Level Fintech-Business Conclave, was successfully hosted by GLS-FOC in collaboration with the Ahmedabad Branch of WIRC, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Held over three days from September 5th to 7th , 2025, the event brought together a diverse group of over 200 bright young minds from across India. Explorer 2025 was conceived with the primary objective of providing a dynamic platform for students to gain a comprehensive, 360-degree experience of the business world. At the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Chandni Kapadia – Executive Director and International Director, GLS University illuminated the gathering and bestowed her blessings upon the students. Mr. Sandeep Shah, Head of the GIFT City IFSC Department, graced the occasion with his presence as the Chief Guest of the function. Dr. Dharmesh Shah, Provost of GLS University, enriched the event by his eminent presence. CA Nirav Agrawal instilled enthusiasm in the students with his enriched experience. The conclave’s meticulously designed events were aimed at not only testing but also enhancing the students’ knowledge and practical skills, preparing them to be the future leaders and managers of the corporate world.
Explorer 2025 at GLS University featured seven key events addressing critical business skills and knowledge. The Boardroom challenged students with strategic business case analysis, while Argument Arena honed debate and persuasive communication. In finance, Finalytics tested financial analysis, and FinExchange simulated market trading for investment decisions. Pitch Paradox showcased innovative marketing campaigns. Who Did It Better focused on strategic improvement of business models, and Ultimate Chase tested problem-solving through puzzles.
The conclave’s success was driven by dedicated student organizers under faculty guidance from Dr. Krupa Bhatt, Dr. Aashal Bhatt, and Dr. Jaimin Patel, with strong collaboration from the Ahmedabad Branch of WIRC, ICAI. The event offered a transformative learning experience, blending strategy, finance, creativity, and critical thinking for participants.
