About B.Tech.

The B.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) program at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, GLS University, is designed to provide a strong foundation in computing principles, algorithms, and system design. The curriculum progressively develops computational thinking, programming proficiency, and analytical rigor from the early semesters. A practice-oriented teaching–learning paradigm ensures that theoretical concepts are consistently reinforced through laboratories, projects, and real-world problem-solving. Students gain deep exposure to core areas such as programming, data structures, databases, operating systems, and computer networks, forming a robust technical base. Building on this foundation, the program integrates emerging and specialized tracks including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Full Stack Development, Data Science, and Cloud Technologies. Outcome-based education aligns learning objectives, assessment, and skill development with professional and industry expectations. Students apply knowledge through mini-projects, internships, hackathons, and collaborative assignments that simulate real engineering practice. Ethical responsibility, secure computing practices, and professional conduct are embedded throughout the curriculum. Faculty mentorship and structured learning pathways support continuous intellectual growth and adaptability to technological change. The program prepares students for advanced studies, research, and impactful careers in a global and rapidly evolving technology ecosystem.
