The Global Bachelor of Design (B.Des Hons.) is a four-year internationally benchmarked undergraduate programme offered in academic collaboration with SAE Institute, Australia, a globally recognised institution in creative media education. Designed for students seeking global exposure and contemporary creative practice, the programme remains grounded in GLSID’s human-centered, socially responsive, and practice-led design philosophy.
The curriculum integrates global industry standards, emerging technologies, studio-based learning, and cross-cultural perspectives, preparing students for international careers, higher studies, and global mobility.
Game Development explores games as interactive systems that combine storytelling, design, technology, and user experience. Students learn game design principles, mechanics, level design, world-building, and interactive narratives, along with exposure to game engines and development workflows. The programme prepares students for careers in game design, interactive media, and independent or studio-based game development.
Animation and VFX Design focuses on creating moving images and immersive visual narratives for film, OTT platforms, gaming, and digital media. Students develop skills in animation principles, 2D and 3D animation, character design, motion graphics, visual effects pipelines, compositing, lighting, and rendering. Graduates build strong portfolios aligned with global industry standards.
