The BCA programme of the Institute is structured carefully to balance theory and practical exposure by combining classroom delivery and discussions, practical problem solving, group presentations, experiments with new concepts and internal as well as external software development projects for better understanding of the fundamentals.

In addition to academic delivery, the students are also groomed for better communication skills, motivated to participate in cultural events and a variety of academic engagements so that they experience an overall development of their personality.

The Institute follows several best practices that include (1) close monitoring of academic schedules, (2) motivating the students to explore and experiment with new ideas, (3) inculcate a strong habit of supplementary and complementary reading, (4) striving to achieve excellent academic performance in university examinations and (5) seeking continuous involvement of well-placed alumni in grooming and development of awareness for further studies amongst the new entrants.

The Institute regularly interacts with computer industry experts for tracking continuous advancements in the industry. Through this interaction, the Institute strives to upgrade the pedagogy, reorient the focus of topics and conduct additional seminars on emerging or in-demand topics.

The Institute has set up a well-equipped computer lab with advanced versions of software, Wi-Fi facility, and various software package subscriptions which are useful for the students.

The Institute library has a rich collection of more than 8,000 books in Computer Science, Information Technology and more than 10,000 books in Management. It is continuously acquiring new books for the benefit of students and faculty members. More than 40 journals have been subscribed in this and related subjects. An air-conditioned and spacious reading room has been provided in the premises of the library for the readers so that they can conveniently read the books/magazines and view the CDs whenever required.
